Feminist Photo Blog Project was founded by Amy, a 20something feminist from Southern California. Amy started the blog out of frustration due to the lack of diverse portrayals of feminists she saw in the media. Amy decided to take matters into her own hands by creating FPBP.
The idea is simple - submit your own photo to feministphotoblogproject@gmail.com and add whatever you think represents you as a feminist.
While Amy does hope that one day in the near future there will be no need to talk about Feminism, this blog will exist as a forum to make Feminism more accessible and tangible for those who wish to challenge the status quo.
Amy is excited to introduce her long-time friend, Estelle, as FPBP’s Creative Director. Estelle will surely bring great things to FPBP with her extensive background and talent in all forms of design, film, photography and media.
